Where can you find what is classed as one of the greatest geological wonders of the world? The beautiful paradise of Belize! The Great Blue Hole measures an astonishing 1000 ft across and descends 412ft deep into the mysterious ocean. In the depths of what is believed to be the worlds largest hole lies a whole new world of marine life, but it's not just down in the depths of this gigantic hole that holds life- Belize is home to the largest barrier reef in the Northern Hemisphere and with that comes a kaleidoscope of colours and thriving marine life! Nurse sharks, hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, spotted eagle rays, stingrays, dog snappers, indigo hamlets, groupers, barracudas, bottlenose dolphins, green and spotted Moray eels, an array of fishes and other Caribbean sharks swim these waters as well as vibrant rainforest of corals! Whether your a beginner or a pro there's dive spot for everyone, so if you would like to explore beneath the surface dive or snorkel unlike anywhere else in the world in the waters of Belize!

But Belize is not just miraculous under the surface of the sea, on land your gifted with an endless amount of opportunity as well. You can float, tube, kayak, crawl, climb, hike, swim or rappel through Belize's caves that were once used extensively by the ancient Maya to conduct their sacred rituals. Some like in Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave even have human remains such as intact skeletons, others are more delightful and not some gloomy with natural formations such as underground waterfalls! You can also paddle through the jungle in a canoe, take on river rapids, hike through tropical forests, see ancient Maya temples all across the island, zipline by day or even zip line by night on a nocturnal line under the full moon!

You will also find the world-renowned Basin Wildlife Sanctuary which is the only protected preserve in the world for Jaguars and is home to all five of Belize cats: Jaguars, Pumas, Margays, Jaguarundis and Ocelots.

And lastly don't forget when you are in Believe to look up! Over 500 species of feathered friends call Belize home from time to time, Including the colourful toucan!
