Caroline Pool
The pool is named after Caroline Chisholm, a famous 19th-century social reformer who worked to improve the living conditions of immigrants to Australia.
The pool is a popular spot for visitors to the Karijini National Park, who come to swim, relax, and take in the stunning scenery. The water in the pool is crystal clear and is surrounded by red rock cliffs and native vegetation, creating a beautiful and peaceful environment.
To reach Caroline Pool, visitors must follow a 1.3km trail that leads down into the gorge. The trail is well-maintained and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, but can be quite steep in places and requires a moderate level of fitness.
Once at the pool, visitors can swim, sunbathe on the rocks, or simply take in the peaceful surroundings.
