Cartagena's Old Town
Old Town Cartagena is at the heart of Colombia’s tourism. This ancient walled town with colourful streets, museums of arts and crafts, colonial architecture, charming little street bars and restaurants is as vibrant as only a Latin American town can be. Cartagena is famous for its greatly preserved colonial architecture with old churches, plazas, mansions, monasteries, and buildings with patios and hanging balconies.

The narrow sidewalks are packed with little shops, colorful city plazas, stop at the Monumento India Catalina park for a break, take a stroll along the Bocagrande Waterfront and circle back, the entire walk is only about 5 km but every one of those kilometers is enriching.
