Coastal Cliffs
Western Australia has a number of stunning coastal cliffs, providing some of the most spectacular views of the Indian Ocean.
Located in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area, Steep Point is one example of the westernmost point of the Australian mainland. The cliffs here rise more than 100 meters above the ocean, providing breathtaking views of the ocean and the surrounding coastline.
Make sure to also see the Zuytdorp Cliffs that stretch for over 150km along the west coast of Western Australia. The cliffs are named after the Dutch East India Company ship, the Zuytdorp, which was wrecked on the cliffs in 1712!
