Devils Marbles
The Devils Marbles, also known as Karlu Karlu, are a group of massive granite boulders located in the Northern Territory of Australia. The rounded rocks, which can weigh up to 15 tonnes, are believed to have been formed around 500 million years ago by erosion and weathering.
The indigenous Warumungu people consider the site to be sacred and have a spiritual connection to the area. Visitors can explore the marbles, which are scattered across an area of over 50 square kilometers, and marvel at their size and unique formation.
