Dog Rock
This enormous granite outcrop near Albany's town center is known as Dog Rock because it unmistakably resembles the head of a bloodhound smelling the air. Any trip to Albany must include a stop at Dog Rock, a favorite location for that perfect holiday snapshot.
Even a dog collar has been painted all around this well-known tourist destination in Albany. The town center is two minutes' walk from Dock Rock, which is situated on Middleton Beach Road.
