Drover's Rest Boab Trees
Drover's Rest Boab Trees are a group of large, ancient trees located in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The trees are estimated to be over 1,500 years old and are a popular tourist destination for visitors to the area. These trees are unique in that they are able to store large amounts of water in their thick trunks, which allows them to survive in the arid desert climate of the Kimberley. The Boab trees are considered a sacred site by the local Indigenous people and have significant cultural and spiritual significance. Drover's Rest Boab Trees are also known for their striking appearance, with their gnarled trunks and large, round leaves.
