Great Victoria Desert
The Great Victoria Desert is a large desert in Australia, covering an area of around 348,750 square kilometers. It is located primarily in the Western Australia and South Australia, and is known for its vast, arid landscape and sparse vegetation.
The desert is home to a variety of unique and adapted wildlife, including the marsupial mole and the thorny devil lizard and is rich in mineral resources, including gold, silver and petroleum. With a rich cultural history, many Indigenous communities have been living in the area for thousands of years.
