Icefields Parkway

You can spend the night gazing at the stars in Icefields Parkway’s legendary night sky, take stunning photos, camp, hike, and discover the 227-kilometer road across the mountain from Jasper to Lake Louise. Icefields Parkway passes through Banff National Park and Jasper National Park giving you so much to explore. Do not hesitate to picnic on any of the scenic many spots on this route especially along the pristine alpine lakes and soothing rivers.
Discover the bighorn sheep, grizzly, and black bears, mountain goats, wolves, caribou, moose, elks, and many other magnificent animals. Go on bike rides on scenic Canadian Rockies routes, fish, or canoe in the Honeymoon Lake, Athabasca river, Waterfowl Lakes or Mosquito Creek during the warm months and ice climb or cross country ski during winter.
