Influenced by Zen Buddhism, the Japanese tea ceremony is a Japanese cultural activity involving the ceremonial preparation and presentation of matcha, powdered green tea, the art of which is called temae.The Tea Ceremony represents harmony, respect, purity and tranquility which we must embrace in order to achieve the main purpose of the tea ceremony.
