Lake Eyre
Lake Eyre, located in South Australia, is a vast salt lake that is known for its unique beauty and ecological significance. The lake is the lowest point in Australia, with an average depth of around 3 meters.
Despite its vastness, it is often dry, only filling with water during periods of heavy rainfall. When it does fill, it becomes a haven for migratory birds and other wildlife. The lake is also an important cultural site for the Arabana people, who have a strong connection to the land and waterways in the area.
