Lithgow
Lithgow is a city located in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia. It is approximately 150 km west of Sydney, and is the administrative centre of the City of Lithgow local government area. The city was established in 1839 and was named after William Lithgow, a colonial explorer.
Lithgow is known for its history and heritage, including the Zig Zag Railway, which is a heritage railway that takes visitors on a scenic journey through the Blue Mountains. The city is also home to several museums, including the Lithgow Small Arms Factory Museum, which tells the story of the city's industrial past.
