A must stop if you’re visiting Launceston Tasmania. On Sunday’s volunteers ring the only operational G-type diaphone in the world and boy is it LOUD. Felt like our bones were shaking! We arrived on what looked like a sunny day and all of sudden the biggest Gale of wind came roaring through was absolutely incredible to experience, felt like we were in the “perfect storm movie” 😅. We learnt so much from the volunteers and the kids thought it was awesome experience (except for one moment when Freddy took his ear muff off mid fog horn blow 😆) we came for a look at the lighthouse and left with an incredible experience, core memory and history lesson!
