Madidi National Park
The Madidi National Park is located in the upper Amazon river basin in Bolivia, and provides everything you need for an exotic Amazon adventure. Madidi is part of one of the largest protected areas in the world. There are 46 indiginous communities in Madidi, making it the most diverse national park in the world. The birdlife in this park is also extremely diverse.
It is best to visit this park in the “dry season” (April to October). In the park you will encounter a variety of wildlife and birdlife, water bodies, people of varying cultures, and a bit of history.
