Nanguluwurr Rock Art
Nanguluwurr Rock Art is a collection of ancient Indigenous Australian rock paintings located in the Northern Territory of Australia. The art depicts a variety of subjects including animals, human figures, and abstract designs.
The paintings are thought to be at least 5,000 years old and are considered to be some of the oldest examples of rock art in Australia. The site is of significant cultural and historical importance to the traditional Indigenous owners, the Warlpiri people, who continue to maintain a strong connection to the land and the art. The site is protected and open to the public for viewing, but visitors are asked to respect the spiritual and cultural significance of the site.
