Ningaloo Marine Park
The Ningaloo Reef Marine Park is one of Western Australia's most sought after wildlife destinations. It is 5000-square-kilometres of jaw-dropping landscapes and wildlife from the Indian Ocean. Snorkelling at Ningaloo is an experience of a lifetime, and you can be sure to add many species to your animal spotting bucket list! Whales, dolphins, turtles, sharks, dugongs, fish and manta rays swim in these waters and seeing them in their natural habitat is nothing short of breathtaking.
Explore the 500 species of tropical fish and 200 species of coral that inhabit this UNESCO World Heritage site. Ningaloo is a haven for whale sharks, some of which are as long as 12m. Scuba dive through Turquoise Bay, Oyster Stacks, or kayak across Bundegi Beach, Coral Bay, Tantabiddi, and Osprey Bay. Visit the dunes, historic shipwreck sites, go coral spawning or turtle watching at Ningaloo Marine Park in the mornings for the best experience. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to activities in this area; spend your morning's kayaking, fishing, swimming or whale watching and your evening's scuba diving, snorkelling, or simply lazing back enjoying a picnic as you watch the sunset on the beach.
