Parque Nacional Corcovado
The last original tract of the tropical rainforest in Pacific Central America and bed to one of the richest bio-diversities in the Americas, the Parque Nacional Corcovado is a natural gold mine. Situated in the Península de Osa this bastion of tropical species is simply spectacular. It contains half of Costa Rica’s species, many of them endangered species like the giant anteater, scarlet macaws, and the harpy eagle which is the world’s largest bird of prey.
