Seven Sisters Chalk Cliffs
A piece of heaven found in Sussex, England is the best way to describe the Seven Sisters. These are the most awe-inspiring landscapes in Southern England. They stretch from Cuckmere Haven to Birling Gap displaying stunning views of steep white cliffs that plunge into the sea, a vast tapestry of green grass hills and valleys and some of the most striking vistas across the English Channel.
The Seaford to Eastbourne coastal trail is by far the best way to experience the Seven Sisters cliffs. This 22.5 km succession of dramatic ascents and descents rolls out unbelievably beautiful landscapes.
On the way explore Seaford Beach all the way down to Seaford Head Nature Reserve, hike past a beautiful golf course on your way to Hope Gap beach for a swim then follow the trail to Cuckmere Haven where you will have the pleasure of gushing over the magnificent Seven Sisters Cliffs. Grab lunch, dinner or a snack at Cuckmere Inn, there’s also a café, a shop and restrooms at Birling Gap which is next on the trail. From Birling Gap walk to Belle Tout Lighthouse where you can get ice cream and refreshments. Continue to Beachy Head all the way to the end of this fascinating trail with so much to blow your mind along the way.
