Stockton Beach
Stockton Beach is a long stretch of sand located in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia. It is known for its impressive sand dunes, which can reach up to 40 meters in height, and is a popular spot for activities such as sandboarding and four-wheel driving.
The beach is also home to a diverse range of wildlife, including migratory shorebirds and the endangered hooded plover. Swimming is not recommended at Stockton Beach due to the presence of sharks and strong currents. However, it is a great spot for fishing, with a variety of species such as bream, whiting, and flathead found in the waters.
