Numerous cities throughout the United States kick off the season with vibrant Thanksgiving parades.
Bands, singers, floats, gigantic balloons, and other performers march, walk and occasionally soar over large boulevards and streets.
While the most well-known and largest parade takes place in New York City, you can find a celebration in the Pacific Northwest, the Southeast, the Northeast, or everywhere in between.
